It's obvious the more accounts people open on https://myetherwallet.com/ the more demanded ETH becomes.

Now let's see the dynamics of popularity on https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/myetherwallet.com

Since April 2017 it has the strong up trend. Every day more and more people join myetherwallet.
Fundamentally this looks so strong, that 480 dollars per 1 ETH is not the ceiling.
