Wow, what a dumb idea for anyone who values their vehicle, or needs to depend on it... The insurance rules between municipalities, license and registration checking.. And the absolute trmoil will be right through the roof.

who the world would rent out there own new private car with the chance of getting it back destroyed, with the value depreciated, or not getting it back at all because of theft or accident.... And on the other hand if the car is older andnot kept up to date, who is going to rent it and if it is older and breaks down how do you adjudicate who is responsible....

We all know the old joke of the moron driver who drives with the warning light on, and then the engine blows up. Or worse whay happans if the sensor is broken and the renter doesn't know it?
