Alt Coin Wallet Exchange Problems

In the past few days, the crypto market has been experiencing some frustrating difficulties buying and selling certain coins. Polionex, an exchange which carries the highest volume of most alt coins traded on the market was recently running into issues with DDoS attacks and connectivity. Based on their twitter at this moment they say "all coins are safe," but how safe are they? It's hard for a long time Bitcoin users not to shake the uneasy feeling in his stomach of an another Mt.Gox effect where millions were lost, yikes.

I don't use Polionex, but the exchange's issues had an effect on me indirectly. Before all of this was going, I have been using Changelly.com to exchange various coins which had been working spectacularly for me until my previous transaction. I attempted to transfer 1000 XRP for 1500 XEM, as I checked every 15 min if the deal went through my paranoia kicked in and started thinking it would lose more than what I put in. To be completely honest with you...it took over 8 hours! I could have flown more than halfway to China by the time Changelly.com finally completed.

Now, I am dealing with a new issue with Gatehub which acts as both a wallet and exchange. They support assets and currencies such as Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), Bitcoin(BTC), Augur (REP), and Ethereum Classic (ETC). I have been using Gatehub for about two months now with no prior issues. This evening though I tried to send some ETH to my other wallet, and received the ERROR message (below). I honestly think I am locked in, and want to assume this is likely something to do with Polionex because I have been trying to send coins several times and keeps failing. I am still relatively new to trading, so If you fellow bloggers have some suggestions, I am all ears.
