I think the IQ of BTC holders is lower, because BTC is ahead in adoption and first adopters are often most intelligent. ETH has only very firs adopters yet and in BTC the adopters are more mainstream already. I think BTC adopters in 2010 had even a better score. I am holding both and untill now it was an intelligent choice.
