Noia Network - Decentralized CDN for the New Internet
CDN stands for Content delivery network and by short definition from Wikipedia its is a geographically distributed network of proxy servers and their data centers. The goal is to distribute service spatially relative to end-users to provide high availability and high performance.
The Idea
Noia Network aims to make decentralized CDN where every machine running its node will be earning passive income in their very own tokens. You will be able to just share parts of your bandwidth and let your idle machine earn money this way.
The plan is to use this CDNs in current and also future decentralized internet where everyone will be sharing parts of bandwidth with each other.
When using NOIA, website’s or application’s content is automatically cached and scaled throughout the NOIA network according to the location of its users and the traffic it gets. As a result, when a user loads a website, the content is delivered directly from the NOIA nodes to the user (browser or app) without requesting it from the source where it is hosted.
Implementation
The NOIA team is made up of developers with Skype, JP Morgan and Dropbox experience and currently, they welcome everyone to join their testnet - https://noia.network/testnet/ and see how this is going to work after mainnet launch. Currently 2000 people can join and try how the system works. For doing the test you will be earning 200 NOIA token a week.
The Edge
To join their network all you need to do is run app on your computer or tablet but its gets better - they will deliver their own hardware device to ensure the most capable way of managing your node.
The device will enhance, improve and optimize the NOIA Token earning power of every NOIA Node by ensuring that shared bandwidth and available storage are managed and accessed most effectively.
So the plan is that by running it you will save energy (as it will be optimized), have stealth node always working and ease of running it.

I am absolutely fascinated by the new network developments that have come about lately, It is exciting to see the next generation of the internet in development. There are a lot of good projects working on web 3.0 and better, and I think there is plenty of room in this space. I can't wait to see the web decentralized.
