MyEtherWallet or MyCrypto?
Hello Steemit Community!
Yesterday the most popular and used ethereum wallet MyEtherWallet got his twitter "hijacked" and got all crypto community confused but this was not a hack but a conflict of interest inside the MyEtherWallet team.
The official MyEtherWallet twitter got his handle changed to MyCrypto, a new project based in MyEtherWallet, you can check the announcement in A New Beginning: MyCrypto.com.
There is nothing wrong if the team has divergences and decide to step down but the problem is robbing the twitter account, shows a big lack of respect and it actually violate the Twitter rules.

The popular crypto youtuber Boxmining created a petition to help MyEtherWallet recover the account, you can check here if you are interested and share the same opinion.

Very sneaky and unprofessional method used by mycrypto to start its own brand. Myetherwallet for the win.

I only wish MEW is still safe to use....
Not a good start for MyCrypto...
But it's always good to have competition...
They say it is, in my opinion i would be more afraid of MyCrypto than MEW, but you can use MEW locally to be safe:
