RE: Cryptocurrencies no Longer Useless! (in Daily Life)
A number of companies have tried to make crypto compliant with cards. That still retains the middlemen invovled in card networks.
PumaPay is its own payment protocol. PumaPay is aiming to remove the need of cards and make payments possible without reliance on any of the processors and banks involved in the current payment system.
So that will reduce the use of visa and mastercard....it gonna be a huge thing to do
PumaPay intends to use blockchain to make a ditect payment flow from user's funds to merchants.
Card networks include several banks and processors in every payment. Lots of friction to be removed so there's lots of room for improvement.
However, to be honest, I don't think those titans are going down. PumaPay has a great concept and I see it as becoming an alternate payment method instead of the only payment method. Think of it as your options going from cash or card to cash, card, or PumaPay, especially if you want to use crypto for payments.
yea, that's right....thanks once again @hatu
