This according to Ethereum co-founder Buterin.
He claims that most people already heard of blockchain which means the old tactic of marketing are over. The next adoption will come from the use of applications by those who are interested in blockchain.

I agree its over for some cryptocurrency, that's how the market is supposed to work. However for others its just the beginning of MASS ADOPTION.

This is just the beginning. We will see many 1000x in the future. Bitcoin has done 650,000x in value. So this is the new normal. The global abundance that we are building is in the trillions. As Elon Musk has said. Abundance is coming. Millionaire will be the new common. Billionaire will be something a regular person can become. Trillionaire will be the new awesome for highly rich people. Bigger Yachts, Homes and Cars. It never ends. We always want more lavish abundance!
I'm sure that hit sucked for a lot of people, but stable prices are more beneficial for crypto in the long run.

His words get taken out of context. He was simply stating that now most people have heard of blockchain, so the price won't increase x1000.
If a crypto is worth $200 then he is stating that it might not get to 2 million dollars.
I think a minority of people have heard of blockchain, of that only a fraction actually understand what it is and of that fraction only a small portion actually have any cryptocurrency. I bet the folks he hangs out are not the best sample. It has a long way to go to become really mainstream.

I think quite the opposite, we are still in the early stages. Most people I know have never head of blockchain, perhaps his have.
