RE: HelbizCoin ICO - Decentralized Transportation
After working on cars for almost 20 years i can 100% say no way in hell i would allow strangers to drive my car. People are slobs and they would without a doubt drive your car like they stole it. I mean who hasn't drove the wheels off of every rental car they have been in?
YOUR car... but what if you got a cheap car that runs well and looks nice for a good deal ?
Wise asset allocation. No different than renting a house to someone.
I agree, additionally that 4% of the time, its often at the 2 same times of the day, everyone (well, many people) has to go to work and get there at 9:00, and they want to go home at 5:00, so if you think you're going to get by with 4% of the cars, I think that's wrong. Your still going to need more cars at those times, and then you will still have a bunch of idle cars in the middle of the day and in the middle of the night.
I think this solution can work for some people, ie pensioners etc but I don't see it working for the majority.
Finally I don't think something like this needs to be, or belongs, on the block chain. Cars are all registered etc, its not something that is or needs to be decentralized.
yes a lot of the user times would deffinatly be at the same times. you would also have ot worry about some D bag taking it to the bar and wrecking it while drunk and then you are out a car that insurance will not cover and a bunch of lawsuites from the family that your car killed will surely file.
You make a good point mate
I'm worried about using fake id's to steal peoples cars
Oh hell i didn't even think about that one. I was more worried about my car getting trashed, not about it getting stolen.
did you see the investors and advisors...
2 rich guys from dubai or the arab emirates....Showing a luxury yacht and an airplane...
who do they thing is using their cars less than 4% of the time?
This is a dead one from the start
