The pets are reminiscent of the oldschool tamagotchi and are appropriately named Ethergotchi.
The Alpha egg, was given out in the earlier stages of the registration phase, they can no longer be obtained, other than by trading with other players.
You also receive a “Referral egg”, On your profile page, there is a referral link, which you can share with friends and family. When they use your link to sign up you upgrade your egg!
Each player will only be able to have three eggs to interact with at the time.
Child
The child stage lasts for 30 days. The emphasis on this phase is to keep your Ethergotchi happy and well-fed so it grows up nicely. It won’t be possible for children to work, that’s only for adults!
Mature
We don’t yet have any information on how long the adult stage will be. But at some point the Ethergotchi will die and reincarnate as an egg!
When it reincarnates it will retain/increase the attributes it has, making it better!
February 19th — March 19th:
First Alpha stage, you can start interacting with your newly acquired egg, there are six required actions for the egg to hatch which defines behavior on the pet coming out of the egg!
