You raise valid pros and cons. I might have to re-evaluate my strategy for the upcoming ICO. I'm still very much anticipating it but would like to make a more calculated and safe approach. Thank you for this.
The biggest factor I see here is Timing. As cryptoportfolio mentioned this is an arm's race between EOS getting its blockchain out and Ethereum's scalability issue getting fixed.
