Just plopping down money on coins that are hot for the hour may lose and lose fast for you. Take the time to read their whitepapers and see who and what they are. Do your research. Look for a strong community too within the blockchain that you are looking at.

When we look at the phenomenon of the growth of Ethereum see a coin that grew from $12 last summer to $350 in 12 months. That means that someone must have made money right? Well, yes and no. If you where lucky enough to get in last year or before and held on your coins you are probably very happy now. However, if you just got involved in the past month or so then your ride may have been a tad bumpy with the ups and downs. Timing is everything. Knowledge is Key!
