The road to Ethereum

There have been many threads that attempt to place doubt in Ethereum and others that support it.

I would like to draw parallels in history why I think Ethereum will be the next generation of how we transact the smallest of actions everyday to enable a better way of life.

In 1991 before the web exploded into the conveinance it is today, I embarked on the journey and tried to understand what the Internet was and how it would change how we would communicate and earn a living. Needless to say the road was filled with bumps, holes, lost oppurtunities, missed IPO's and several good income oppurtunities. The message I would like to share is that along this journey, I have learned the following rules will accelerate your progress in however way you beleive the technology will impact you;

1. Naysayers have not built great empires, they have fed off them as parasites.
2. The road of a thousand miles......Let's just say the early browsers did not make earning a living off the web easy, look at where we are in 2017 browser technology.
3. Scalability: Human progress did not commence with highly parallel systems that can do what your mother can, infact I doubt it ever will. The technology of today can help us with medical or life threatening emergencies, it was not always that way.
4. Competing blockchain platforms. I love pancakes, don't tell me about how you like to make your pancakes, show me. Ethereum is here and it has demonstrated it can function, this is where we are and how we will make it better, stronger and easier to implement.
5. Big picture: In case you did not get the memo, there are societal problems being faced across the planet at this point in time. If Ethereum commences at tackling those problems, that is progress. Most humans do not wish to see others facing any difficulty or danger. We are of the same species and at some point, once you remove the layers, we want good things for each other.
