Ethereum-based e-sports project funded by Coinbase launches Gods Unchained

Gods Unchained, the first competitive e-sports project which is built on the Ethereum Blockchain has finally been launched. The new game, which was developed by Fuel Games, was funded by Coinbase Ventures. The funds were to be utilized for the development and deployment of the game. The game provides a better user experience for the gamers by implementing hybrid on-chain and off-chain system. This helps in processing the information better, thus enhancing the user experience as well as preventing network congestion.Source

The Ethereum Blockchain is home to several Blockchain-based games including the infamous CryptoKitties, Etheremon and the gambling game, Fomo3D. The developers of Etheremon recently announced that they’ll be moving part of the Pokemon-based game’s gameplay to the Zilliqa Blockchain. The Blockchain-based game’s developers aim to increase scalability so that users can play the game quickly as well as cheaply.
