Status ICO Tuesday night June 20 Exposes the Vulnerability Ether and the Ethereum network

In preparing to purchase a new cryptocurrency, "Status", in their ICO offering on Tuesday night, I began to assemble my Ethereum funds from the various accounts and wallets that I had ether stored in. Even though Ethereum is known for its relatively fast rate of transfer, most of these funds did not complete until today, June 21, 2017. It has now been reported that the Ethereum network was clogged from that ICO event. I am still awaiting a funds transfer that was made from Poloniex this morning and have placed a support ticket to locate that transfer. Everyone should be made aware of this now apparent vulnerability that Ether has.
