What can go wrong with my ETH?
Hi friends,
Based on my little understanding of cryptocurrency market, always I was and am a fan of the Ethereum blockchain technology. Except for the fact that the ETH ((crypto symbol for Ethereum) tokens can be made infinite (unlike BTC), rest of the things are super exciting and looks like this will be a de-facto technology of the future. But, if we carefully watch the latest events happening, looks like ETH will be replaced by some other crypto.
In my opinion, here's a list of negative things about ETH currently and time only will tell the future of this great crypto.
Moving to PoS (Proof of Stakes) from PoW (Proof of Works): There could be a possibility of one more hard fork here.
To many ICO (Initial Coin Offerings): It's good that many new projects are coming up which will be built on top of Ethereum blockchain technology landscape. But we can't assume that all are going to do great things. Some of them are fake too, which will give bad name to the Ethereum foundation.
Most of these projects are on PPT or PDF. Money has been collected just based on some assumptions. Something may go wrong when the actual product gets implemented.
Another threat could be - Implementing a large scale project based on Ethereum blockchain technology. There could be bugs in the underlying technology itself, who knows?
