It is evident for everyone to see Ethereum Classic needs some active development very soon. But even if it takes some time, it remains the immutable Ethereum blockchain regardless. That moniker alone will not be sufficient to keep this ecosystem alive in the long run, though.

With Ethereum Classic still being around, the topic of conversation is slowly turning towards development. Compared to the Ethereum fork, Classic has little to no projects built on top of it yet.
