RE: May 23rd - brief view on Radiation Therapy Treatments for cancer

in #esteem6 years ago

They have to get me back up and working on recovery before they Can stop.
They had me going 24 hrs a day . Then hard cord steroids . We had to stop the cancer from hitting ad destroying the nerves. They thought I had a stroke. Whole right side was gone. Made no sense to them. Until the tumor came beach on the CT. My oncologist also called and had contacted them. To make things short they have to get you stable.

Sort:

I do nderstand the results of brain lesions and nerve damage. I am glad they were able to quickly figure out what was going on with you and start a course of action.

That is great that you understand the lesions. They are deep in the brain.
Well the ER has to follow their protocol. They see stroke. When the oncologist called and said they wanted a CT of the brain they had to comply . The oncologist radiation is from there hospital .
This was one of the plan that you hope you don’t have to use. Better prepared then to just react.

It helps that you are activily involved and understand the treatments. I'm pretty sure that is not the case with most patients that the oncologist works with.

No its not. We have discussion on the subject in the hospital . They said no one ask questions or questions the doctors orders except you. It is really nice because you have made our job easier.
I have heard that over and over. At the end of the day I will be standing there in this fight. I better know this enemy. And if I don’t it will be my fault no one else’s.

You impress the hell out of me! ❤️
