As Myanmar kings were polygamists, today's polygamy seems to be handed over from them. Ancient kings of Myanmar married many queens, and they naturally had a number of sons and daughters, so that coups d'etat occurred in royal palaces.
မိန္းမအမ်ားအျပားယူေသာ စနစ္သည္ ေ႐ွးျမန္မာဘုရင္မ်ားမွ ဆင္းသက္လာေသာ ဓေလ့စ႐ိုက္ တစ္ခုျဖစ္၏။ ေ႐ွးျမန္မာမ်ားသည္ မိဖုရားမ်ားကို အမ်ားအျပား ယူၾကသည္။ မိဖုရားမ်ားမွ သားေတာ္၊ သမီးေတာ္မ်ား ေမြးၾကရာ ေနာက္ဆံုး ျမန္မာမင္းဆက္တြင္ ထို႔ကဲ့သို႔ သားေတာ္၊ သမီးေတာ္တို႔ အမ်ားအျပားေပၚခဲ့ရာ နန္းတြင္းအာဏာလုပြဲမ်ား၊ နန္းတြင္းအ႐ႈပ္အေထြးမ်ား ေပၚခဲ့သည္။
Myanmar men are tall, dark and muscular. They are excellent horse riders. They love tattooing, wearing side hairknot on their heads, and keeping moustache. They also like smoking. When they are travelling, they are used to keep swords beside them.
ျမန္မာအမ်ိဳးသားတို႔သည္ အသားညိဳ၍ သန္မာထြားက်ိဳင္းသည္။ ျမင္းစီးေကာင္းသည္။ ေဆးမင္ေၾကာင္ထိုးၾကသည္။ ခါးေတာင္းက်ိဳက္သည္။ ေသ်ွာင္တေစာင္းထုံးကာ ႏႈတ္ခမ္းေမြးထား၏။ ေဆးေပါ့လိပ္ ေသာက္သည္။ ခရီးသြားေသာအခါ ဓားလြတ္ကိုေဆာင္၍ သြားေလ့႐ွိသည္။
