"The train is favored by queens and other senior royalty members because it is considered home despite being away from home, equipped with offices, bedrooms and dining rooms," quoted from Travel and Leisure.

The British railway was first operated in 1977. Despite being 36 years old, the British railway is currently in excellent condition. There are nine cars with exterior and interior design that looks luxurious.

On the outside, the train is painted a shiny black color with the logo of the British Empire. The door, roof and window lines are painted in red, giving a formal impression.

Inside, there is a seating area, a dining room with 10 seats, and a large bathroom. There is a dresser for Queen Elizabeth's clothes on this train. All are designed with pastel colors and the best interior materials just like a running palace.

To support Queen Elizabeth's official trip, this train also has special carriages for security officers and court staff. Trains are also equipped with their own means of communication and power supplies.

"Trains seem to be a special place, while away from home for the Queen and her family are completely free of public attention," Brian Hoey wrote in At Home with the Queen.

Hoey says Prince Charles is even more enjoying the journey using a royal train than a jet plane to travel long distances. Prince Charles reasoned to see the English countryside scenery.

The Royal Railway was first used by Queen Victoria in 1842. The train was specially built by the Great Western Railway Company in 1840 with the latest models and technologies of the day.
