As in another hadith narrated also by Abu Hurairah ra., "The five time prayers, from Friday to Friday and from Ramadan to the next Ramadan are the fusions of sin if they do not commit major sins."
- Prayers become mustajab and are freed from the fires of hell.
From Jabir ra., Rasulullah Saw. said, "Verily Allah promises on every day and night in the month of Ramadan liberation from hellfire and for every Muslim who pray at that time will surely be granted".
- Shacked Syaithan and Jin, the door of hell is closed while the door of heaven is open.
In a hadith it is said, "When the month of Ramadan comes, the door of heaven opens the door of hell closed, and shaitan-shaitan is shackled".
- The month of Ramadan is the month of the Qur'an
Allah SWT. said, "The Fasting Month in which the Qur'an is revealed as a guide for man, his description and explanation are also differentiators (between the right and the false). And whoever has seen the moon (hilal) then fasts "
- Umrah in the month of Ramadan is more special than Umrah in the other month.
From Ibn Abbas ra. that the Messenger of Allah. once said, "Umrah in the month of Ramadan is the same as Hajj - to me -"
- There is a night "Lailatul Qadr" in the month of Ramadan whose kindness is like a thousand months.
For Health
This fasting, in addition to an obligation for Muslims that Allah promises great reward and the month full of blessings and forgiveness, but also on the other hand it stores many benefits for the health of the body. Among them:
- Improving the immune system
Fasting can make your body healthier and immune to illness. Lymphocytes will increase to 10-fold during fasting, so the body will become stronger and immune from virus attacks and various diseases.
- Healthy kidney

- Avoid bad habits
