once completed, the new terminal will be able to accommodate 7 million passengers per year or 19 thousand passengers per day. While the old terminal capacity is only 800 thousand passengers per year.
in addition, the new terminal also features three units of garbarata and 30 units of counter check in to speed up service to airline passengers.
while for the apron area the new terminal reaches 72,522 square meters so it can accommodate 12 slim body plane (narrow body) or the configuration of ten narrow body aircraft and two wide-body aircraft (wide body) cargo .
