South Korean company Samsung has opened a new SSD drive with Thunderbolt 3 connectivity. The Samsung Portable SSD X5 will be available at 500 GB, 1 Terabyte and 2 Terabyte storage.
Thunderbolt 3 connectivity of this drive and an NVMI support can be transferred to a 4k video of 20GB at 12 seconds.
The Samsung Portable SSD X5 is priced at $ 399 US which have 500 GB storage. The price of 1 terabyte storage variant is $ 699 and the price of 2 terabytes is $ 1,399.
This device will be of great use while working with high resolution photos and 4's. Samsung claims that up to 2800 MBps Reid Speed
will be available on this drive. Which is 25.5 times more than any hard disk.
Samsung will provide a software with this drive.Using this software, the data will be encrypted on the drive.
