Sick is the Way God Tests How Steadfast and Patientness A Person

As ordinary humans, we are given "healthy", and sometimes also given "sick". If we talk about "sick", then of course we all must have experienced it, because sickness is actually the way God tells us that our bodies have a mandate that must be maintained and fulfilled. So it is appropriate for us to take good care of our health, and be careful when we are in good health.

Islam always teaches its people to be grateful for the blessings given by God, including healthy favors. Because healthy favors are the most valuable favors in the world besides enjoying faith and Islam, because with a healthy body condition we can enjoy the other blessings of Allah.

And when we are given sick by God, is that also a favor from Him? Yes, because with sick, God is also given us tremendous blessings for us. Among them the blessings we have to be grateful for when we are sick, we can rest the body for a moment from worldly things.

When we are sick, this means that God gives us time so that we are calm only to remember Him, then when we are sick, we are told to be patient, because that is God's way to knock our hearts to learn to be patient and grateful.

Therefore, we must realize how important "healthy" are, and also we must realize that "sick" is also a favor from God so that we do not become easy to complain when we are sick or when we are healthy. Because actually sick or healthy are the favors that God gave us, we should be grateful. Because it can be said that "sick" is the way God tests our patience, while "healthy" is the way God tests how much we are grateful for the blessings God has given us all this time.

Sick is God's Grace, Not Exams From Him

When we are sick, we should not call it a test, but on the contrary, we should call and consider it as a mercy and favor from God to us.

We must assume that sick as God's way to teach us how important health is, and also with sick also make us closer to God and always remembering Him.

Besides that, sick also gives us the pleasure to take a break from the rigors and cruelty of the world, the pleasure to think wisely about the blessings that God has given us so far. Because it may be sick is the way of God so that we are able to interpret wisely what we have done when we were healthy, and it could also be a rebuke from God because when we are healthy we often use health in vain and on the way in vain.

We also have to realize that behind the pain that God gives, there will always be wisdom that we get, depending only on how wisely we think and interpret everything well and gratefully to God. Because, if the heart has been filled with gratitude wisely, then no matter what favors that God gives, of course, it will very mean for us.
