I feel this. My best guy friend for about 5 years, I crushed on HARD from the moment we met. But we were never single at the same time, the timing was never in our favor and I was just never brave enough to tell him how I felt, worried it would scare him off or he would react with distance in the event of not reciprocating the attraction. Well, one night I worked up the nerve, the timing no longer mattered, and I experienced exactly what this post is detailing. It's been almost 9 years now since that night!
