the beauty of Borobudur temple
It is said that this Borobudur Temple was founded by adherents of Mahayana Buddhism around the year 800 AD during the reign of the Syailendra dynasty. Borobudur Temple is one of the largest Buddhist temples and the largest Buddhist monument in the world.
The temple walls are decorated with thousands of relief panels. When I was counting the stupa and looking at pictures of reliefs on the walls of the temple, suddenly I accidentally met many tourists who were busy photographing the statue while talking about the history of Borobudur Temple as well as other temples around it.
Sudah sering mendengar Candi Borobudur, candi dengan ciri khas seni itu memang banyak sekali diperbincangkan oleh warga Indonesia bahkan manca negara. Berbondong-bondong mau ke sana, namun sayangnya saya belum pernah melihat secara langsung. Mudah-mudahan suatu saat saya ada kesempatan ke sana.
