The flowered python (Python reticulatus) - reportedly 7 meters long - is very strong indeed. They wrapped around their prey and destroyed it, killing him to suffocation or suffering a heart attack.

But eating the prey is another matter. The pythons do not chew their food, they have to swallow their prey. Fortunately, their jaws are connected by very flexible ligaments, so the jaws are stretched if they eat large prey.
