TransJ is free during weekends throughout the 2018 Asian Games

TransJakarta bus (TransJ) will be free for the weekend during the 2018 Asian Games. TransJ is free for all routes.
"For information, people can go to the Asian Games using TransJakarta on TransJ Saturday and Sunday free of all routes," DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan said after attending the Poco-Poco mass exercise at Silang Monas field, Central Jakarta, Sunday (5 / 8/2018).
There are 1,750 TransJ buses prepared. Meanwhile, 350 buses are devoted to the accommodation of athletes from the athlete's house to the location of the match.
"We prepare 1,750 TransJ and 350 buses specifically used by athletes. So for Jakarta residents who will watch, please use the facilities prepared," he said.
Apart from that, Anies said that DKI Jakarta was ready in organizing the 2018 Asia Games. "All 100 percent are ready and athletes start attending on August 10, 2018, God willing, everything is ready," said Anies.
"(Regarding the time of transfer of athletes) Alhamdulillah, using an odd-numbered policy and closing the toll gate, the target of 34 minutes can be reached from the athletes' house to GBK 20-25 minutes," he concluded.
