With the exception of Duma, the regime controls Al Ghouta and abandons its people
The Syrian regime's army has taken control of all the eastern towns and villages of Ghouta except for Douma, whose fate is still pending. More than 160,000 al-Gauta were displaced, at a time when the opposition national coalition appealed to the world for their relief.
The military said the military campaign launched against Ghouta since February 18 killed more than 1,600 civilians and secured security for the capital and secured highways from Damascus to other parts of the country.
