Mount Merapi Back Erupsi, AP I: Uninterrupted Flight

Mount Merapi, located in Central Java province again erupted on Friday, June 1, 2018 at around 08:20 pm. Corporate Secretary Angkasa Pura I Israwadi said until now the eruption of Mount Merapi does not interfere with flight operations.

"Alhamdulillah still safe does not disrupt the operation," said Israwadi when contacted by Tempo, Friday, June 1, 2018.

Israwadi also explained that until now there has been no warning given to the airlines. "But we have opened the Emergency Operation Center for monitoring and coordination," he said.
