What is the difference between hijab / veil, Niqab, Al Amira, Burqa, Shayla. Khimar and Chador?

  1. Hijab / Jilbab
    The term Hijab / hijab is widely used in general by Muslim women in western countries / asia. Hijab / hijab is made up of colorful scarves as well as patterns that will make the style more stylish veil. From this term comes derivative of term bergo, jilbab practical dll.

  2. Niqab
    Niqab is a kind of Muslim head covering a veil. In addition to covering the head to the chest, niqab veil will cover some face except the eyes. Long Niqab up to the waist. Generally worn by women in arab.

  3. Burqa

Burqa is a kind of head cover for a Muslim who covers the entire face. part of the eye covered by wire netting for bs to see. Burqa has a canal cut from head to toe. Burqa became the traditional women's hijab of Afghanistan.

    Al Amira is an instant scarf added with ciput to cover the forehead. Suitable worn as a daily casual headscarf. Liked by Muslim krn simple and practical. Commonly used in European and Asian countries

  2. Shayla
    is a rectangular Scarf which has pieces like a scarf or pashmina. generally widely used by young muslimah.

  3. Khimar
    Khimar is a long jilbab instant that close to chest. Khimar has long pieces of wrist so it can cover the chest, shoulders but without the veil.

Chador
Chador is widely worn by Iranian women. Chador shaped cape that covers the head to the whole body but not on the face. Usually Chador is equipped with a mini-instant or mini veil.
