I did the same thing in late '16 under the framework of technical analysis. Admittedly, my chart-reading wasn't that good. It was only later that I realized that what I was doing was trying to keep the faith for Steemit. (I was bullish all the way.)

Your Point 3, about the Steemit ecosystem, is the one that needs to be repeated. It's the closest we have to fundamental analysis for STEEM. And the fundamentals still look good!
