Now I've always been a fan of a small bit of gambling. I used to play a fair bit of poker back in the day, through tournaments, pub games and with my mates in college. We used to spend a lot of evening with a deck of cards playing every sort of card game we knew between us. It was always a nice way to spend the evening and pint money was passed over and back the table. Blackjack was on the list too and we played plenty of it late at night with a few drinks.
Now I've played the dice games and this new app has a dice game as well with what looks like video poker in the near future.
Right now though it has fully functioning blackjack that is running and easy to use. With @cryptogames You can log in with steem keychain or steem connect keeping you safe. While the gameplay isn't perfect, it is running smoothly. It has all the usual functions of the game and so far has worked without any issues on my side. It's basic and not that fast but all of these are small issues that I expect to be upgraded in the future.
The other side to it is the levels and bonuses for playing the game itself. There are 7 different levels of user based on how much STEEM you play during the month. Once you reach a level you will still need to play a certain amount every month to keep inside it.
Also planned in the future will be their own gamer token and dividents for players. From their latest post,
We are in the final stages of launching our fully transparent GAMER token on steem engine, a sidechain which is immutably linked to the steem blockchain. This means that all your token transactions, holdings, and earnings are stored immutably on the blockchain and anyone can access and verify any transaction related to the GAMER token.
Token Launch will be within 1-2 weeks from now. Also, all the bets placed till launch will also receive their share of tokens.
Play: For every 1 STEEM wagered, 100 GAMER tokens + Bonus Tokens as per Club rewards will be distributed irrespective of whether you win or lose the game. ‘Playing’ is the best way to earn GAMER tokens since you can enjoy the game, earn some tokens and maybe win some steem as well.
Refer: For all referrals, we currently distribute 20% of the house edge (0.5%) of blackjack bets and 10% of the house edge (1%) of dice bets of all your referred users daily for lifetime. Additionally we will distribute 10% of all the bets of your referred users as GAMER tokens.
Delegate: For every 100 Steem Power delegated to @kryptogames, 100 GAMER tokens (1:1) will be credited to your account every day. Distribution will be halved every time the total Steem Power delegated to @kryptogames reaches multiples of 50000. (Eg: After 50000 SP delegated, 50 GAMER tokens will be issued. After 100K SP delegated, 25 tokens will be issued per day)

Dividends will be in a couple of weeks but the tokens are active already. So you can build them up now quicker than later when you will get less.

Now that is a good time to participate, because the later the token distribution rate will be lower.
They are being distributed daily since Friday and you can trade them on steem-engine already. Getting 100:1 for play at the moment which is the best time to do it. That will half every 5% of tokens that are given out.
This is sure trouble for me as I love Blackjack! One of the only game I look forward to playing when I go to the casino with friends and family. However, that is why I may need to steer clear from it as it could get nasty quickly. Have to put it on my list to check out!

It's easy to get into it properly. I always start with a small bet but chase it if I'm losing. With this I'm only going to play small for fun. Not do anything stupid.
It's worth a look anyway. Between the new games and the tokens coming out soon it is always good to check out these projects. If you can win some steem, even better.

Gambling always risky
The Gambling and betting industry is very huge and it would not surprise me why there are many gambling platforms popping up.
I have a bad experience with gambling and I will definitely never dare to gamble again but I am happy to see new platforms come up and compete with others as in the end, it only brings mass adoption to the blockchain.
This is the first time I am reading about this place and I it grows and get to join the big names like steemmonsters and Drugwars like we all know.

I wasn't a lover of games like this before but since many games are coming onboard the steem block chain I've been tempted to give many of them a try. Not to talk of the token attached to some of it. That this game you've reviewed has a promising token is going to make me sign up.
I have a few magic dice tokens as well which give a payout every day. The main thing with these is to be in early so that you can earn more tokens. Same as this. You earn 100 tokens per steem played but once 5% are given out it will only be 50 tokens. So don't be shy to join and try a few hands.
@niallon11, Now Gambling and Betting games are becoming trending aspect on Steem Blockchain and there is no surprise in that if many more will come.
They are a handy way to pass some time and we all know how big the online gambling world is so it makes sense to have the apps here. You should sign up and try the blackjack. Works really well.

Just like you, I love playing cards in general, mostly because of memories that it brings for younger times.
This is another site that goes toward the trend and has a lot of potential, I just would like to see it more appealing, I mean it looks way too simple, and with a few design updates could easily grow bigger.
