Dutch eggplant
Eggplant or Dutch eggplant (Solanum betaceum) is a kind of plant family member eggplant (Solanaceae) which started in developing in Bogor West Java since 1941. [1] In Indonesia the eggplant was probably first brought and developed in Indonesia by the Dutch at that time so that it was known by the name of eggplant of the Dutch, even though the fruit came from Amazon region in Latin America.
