Children do like drawing. They love doodles and coloring. I always support if they want to participate in drawing and coloring contest. I like them join the race, no matter win or lose. I just want them to be creative and imagine what they like.

Anak-anak memang suka menggambar. Mereka suka corat-coret dan mewarnai. Saya selalu mendukung bila mereka ingin ikut lomba menggambar dan mewarnai. Saya suka mereka ikut perlombaan, tidak perduli menang atau kalah. Saya hanya ingin mereka berkreasi dan berimajinasi tentang apa yang mereka suka.

My son Nasywa likes to draw flowers. He also likes to draw landscapes. This photo is a work of him while participating in the school race. The painting is simple, but to me it is a remarkable work from a fifth grader of elementary school. I like his efforts to join the race.

Anakku Nasywa suka menggambar bunga. Dia juga suka dengan menggambar pemandangan alam. Foto ini merupakan karya dia saat ikut lomba di sekolah. Lukisannya memang sederhana, tapi bagi saya itu adalah karya yang luar biasa dari anak kelas 5 sekolah dasar. Saya suka dengan usaha dia untuk ikut lomba.

Children need parental guidance and supervision in all things. Do not burden the child with the wishes of the parents. Let them be creative with their desires, our duties only lead when there is a mistake. Let the child grow with his desires, not our wishes the parents.

Anak-anak perlu bimbingan dan pengawasan orang tua dalam segala hal.Jangan bebani anak dengan keinginan orang tua. Biarkan mereka berkreasi dengan keinginan mereka, tugas kita hanya mengarahkan bila ada kesalahan. Biarkan anak tumbuh dengan keinginannya, bukan keinginan kita para orang tua.

I love to see my son drawing. I never insisted on him to be a champion in every race. I do not want to burden him with all my desires. I want her to live and do something without burden.

Aku suka melihat anakku menggambar. Aku tak pernah mendesak dia agar menjadi juara di setiap lomba. Aku tak ingin membebani dia dengan segala keinginanku. Aku ingin dia hidup dan berbuat sesuatu tanpa beban.
