How Much Does the Vagina Depth Mean?

You may be able to measure and know easily the length of the penis, but do you know the size or depth of the vagina? Most likely, no.
Well, if you're wondering about the size or depth of the vagina, a study reported by the British Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology may probably answer your curiosity. It was reported that the average depth of the vagina is 3.77 inches or approximately 9.6 cm! Wow, more than you think, right?
However, the above statistics do not necessarily mean that every woman has a vagina of that depth. The width and depth of the vagina can differ between women, and another great, can also stretch to accommodate the penis and the size of the baby during childbirth!
There are several studies that claim that the average range of female vaginal depth is 3 to 7 inches, or 7.6 cm to 17.8 cm. Also, if you measure the depth of the vagina starting from the tip of the cervix, its length can reach 7 inches.
However, the vagina may stretch naturally because of the mucosa that can accommodate this flexibility. Mucosa is a type of tissue layer inside the vagina that consists of special cells that release the vaginal lubricant fluid.
But one thing you need to remember, the depth of the vagina does not affect your sexual performance, your ability to give birth, or the risk of sexually transmitted infections.
