Whose favors did you deny
What an abundance of pleasure that Allah Almighty gives to us, is infinitely numbered. God gives us life, health, food, drink, clothing and so many other favors. If we try to count the blessings that Allah grants us, we will not be able to count them. Allah Ta'ala says: وإن تعدوا نعمة الله لا تحصوها (18) "And if ye count the favor of Allah, ye can not determine the number." (Surat an-Nahl: 18). And the characteristics of a true Muslim can never be separated from the three circumstances which is a sign of happiness for him, that is when he gets a favor then he is grateful, when it gets distress then he is patient, and when he sins he beristighfar. It is amazing the state of a believer. Whatever the circumstances, he still can still achieve a lot of reward. Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said: عجبا لأمر المؤمن إن أمره كله له خير وليس ذلك لأحد إلا للمؤمن, إن أصابته سراء شكر فكان خيرا له, وإن أصابته ضراء صبر فكان خيرا له "It is amazing the affairs of a believer, all his affairs are good for him. This is not found except in a believer. When he gets pleasure, he is grateful, then that is good for him. On the contrary, when afflicted by trouble, he also be patient, then that is a good thing for him. "(HR.Muslim, no. 2999).
