Anyone who spends his fasting time by sleeping all day then his fast is valid if he intends to fast before dawn. But he sinned for not doing prayers in his time and sin because he did not pray if he was among those who are obliged to perform the prayers of worshipers. The person has abandoned two duties so his sin is enormous.
