Activity profile based on the division of labor between men and
women in public life. Activity in this study
is a motorcycle activity dadap by the community
Depok district of Sleman district. Use of motorbike by
people are already entrenched, even most people do not
can be detached from the motorcycle to support its activities. Travel
using a motorbike can make it effective time, other than fast
motorcycles are also practical to use, economical and easy to use.
Motorcycle vehicles are widely used by the majority
Indonesian society. At the time of riding between men and
women, the public prioritizes the men who are in front
in order to protect women. In addition there are various factors
being the reason men are as drivers and women are
behind. The choice of who is riding or who
riding in a drive has its own reasons associated with
physical, psychological, and habitual. The gender perspective that exists within
Motorbike riding sees a variety of physical, psychological, and other factors
habits that are an important part of the election that becomes
driver. According to these factors, there can be a division of labor
between different men and women. The men are constructed as
drivers and women are behind when driving bicycles
motorcycle.
