Isi selongsong ketupat dengan beras sampai 1/3 bagian lebih sedikit, tapi tidak sampai 1/2 selongsong. Untuk mendapatkan ketupat yg "menul", perlu mencermati isi ketupat dg tepat
Rebus ketupat dalam air selama 3,5 jam, hingga air menguap/"asat". Awalnya, semua ketupat harus terendam air yaa
Selanjutnya kukus ketupat selama 1/2 jam agar ketupat tahan lama
Setelah itu angkat dari panci kukus dan angin2kan
Ketupat siap dihidangkan dg lodeh pepaya atau soto.
