Public wages due to illegally truck parking in Market Street in Indurkan

Public transportation in Pirojpur is the only busiest road in Indurakani Bazar. The matter was discussed several times in Upazila's monthly law and order meeting but the administration remained silent.

In the Indurkani market of Upazilla Sadar, there are restrictions on entering any kind of freight trucks, containers, pickups in the daytime, but they do not have to pay the goods every day. In such a way, due to traffic accidents, due to illegal parking in the market, people are suffering from traffic. Often, rickshaws, vans, eziebikes can not be operated normally due to traffic jam. Because of this, the passengers who were trapped in the rainy season have suffered in general sufferings. No action is taken even if the situation prevails in front of the law-enforced army.

Some truck drivers who are reluctant to disclose the names, told that they have to pay the management fee of 300 to 500 rupees per trunk to enter the market.

Indurakani market trader Harun Rashid Hawladar said, "There is no rule to reduce the transportation costs of the traders, but the trucks are entering the daytime." But we are not trying to enter the truck during the day.

Upazila chairman Masud Sayedee said, the entry of the freight trak in the Indurkani market from 8am to 8pm is prohibited. The law enforcement agencies will take action against them when a truck enters it.

Meanwhile, Indurkani Police Station OC Md Nasir Uddin said that prohibition of entry of trucks during the day. But measures will be taken to see how it is entered.
