I've just catched the release for my old iPhone! Working fine for now and looks more clean here and there. Haha! It's fun to see my friends feed is flooded with my "No image" images!
I would suggest to change that pink cover image overlay to something neutral (maybe original eSteem blue color will suit but a 50% saturated to gray?)
You mean profile page cover image overlay? Yes, 1.5.1 will have that change, some were also suggesting that

Depends what iOS version you have, we are thinking to deprecate support for iOS 9.3 and below

I'm trying to login using the advanced setting by scanning the posting bar code. The app just hangs forever once I press login.
You should make sure that you are connected to alive server. Settings page and see if Server field has green check if not, change to the one which has green check and save changes. Try again login!
Problem is on the Steemit side. Bar code does not change when private key button is pressed. I assume the bar code only works for public key. Once I copied and pasted I was good.
The settings and advanced login screens are buggy. Both jump the cursor down a line after typing so the cursor is no longer in the text box.

Hi @good-karma! I'm using the eSteem app and it works well overall. Question: @exyle did a post the other day saying never to log in with your master key, only your posting key and the active key when transferring funds. Then the master key is just for if you want to change the keys. I'm pretty sure I wasn't able to log in to eSteem with just the posting key, unless I got it wrong. Is it possible on eSteem (I can try again later)? And what do you think of that as a security measure overall? Thanks! (I'm on Android btw)
You have option to login with only Posting Private key, please select Advanced login option... Application is opensource and can be audited by anyone and I have made posts in past about overall eSteem security and how to make sure you are using correct version and how to keep your funds safe, etc.

Couldn't the serves be changed automatically in order to give the best performance, it's kind of a hassle to change them by hand. And a lot of people don't know about this and say the app is working badly.
That's something to consider in future releases. If selected server failed to return results select next available server...
