Surabaya City Government proposed development of urban forest

"Later we will plant a lot of Moringa leaves, then I heard about bamboo crops, hope that will help advance the field of medicine in Indonesia," Risma told reporters at his official home on Saturday (28/4).
The location targeted, he continued, is Kebraon area. The city forest will be built on an area of ​​6 hectares. Not only in Kebraon.
The development of urban forest will also be done in the village of Balas Krumpik, Wiyung, south Surabaya. In addition, the development of urban forests as well as land owned by other local government that was released the prosecutor's office.
Furthermore, Risma said there are now a number of other locations that are also the target of development. Three locations in western Surabaya. The location is chosen because it is considered to be a reserve area or water absorption.
"Because western Surabaya is higher (the contour of the land) than other areas," explained Risma.
