Pokemon Go: Jirachi Special Research Task Available

In addition to the exciting 3 weeks of Ultra Bonuses from the end of the Summer events, Niantic has launched the latest Special Research Task which ends with the ability to capture the Wish Pokemon, Jirachi! Those who were able to complete the exclusive one during a Pokemon Go Fest event will find additional candy instead.

My ability to complete these Research tasks lately have slowed down so I researched all the steps online to ensure I can better prepare for them in the coming weeks so I thought I would share them with the community. Thanks to the Silph Road Reddit community for putting this together (link below)

Stage 1/7:
Catch 25 Pokémon (1000 XP)
Spin 10 Pokéstops or Gyms (Jigglypuff encounter)
Make 3 new friends (Feebas encouter)
Rewards: 1 Mossy Lure, 1 Magnetic Lure, and 1 Glacial Lure

Stage 2/7:
Catch 3 Whismur (10 Whismur Candy)
Evolve a Feebas (1500 XP)
Gold Hoenn Medal (1500 XP)
Rewards: 2000 Stardust, 10 Regular Pokéballs, 3 Incense

Stage 3/7:
Take a snapshot of Loudred (Snorlax encounter)
Make 3 Great Throws in a row (2000 XP)
Earn 3 Candies walking with your buddy (2000 XP)
Rewards: 20 Silver Pinap Berries, 3 Star Pieces, 2000 Stardust

Stage 4/7:
Catch 50 Psychic- or Steel-type Pokémon (2500 XP)
Power up Pokémon 10 times (2500 XP)
Send 10 Gifts to friends (2500 XP)
Rewards: 1 Fast TM, 1 Charged TM, 1 Premium Raid Pass

Stage 5/7:
Battle a team leader 3 times (Kricketune encounter)
Win against another Trainer 7 times (3000 XP)
Win 5 raids (3000 XP)
Rewards: 3 Rare Candy, 20 Ultra Balls, 3000 Stardust

Stage 6/7:
Take 5 photos of Steel or Psychic Pokémon (Chimecho enoucnter)
Make 3 excellent curveball throws (Bronzong encounter)
Spin a Pokéstop 7 days in a row (4000 XP)
Rewards: 10 Silver Pinap Berries, 10 Star Pieces, 5000 Stardust

Stage 7/7:
Autocompleted (4500 XP)
Autocompleted (4500 XP)
Autocompleted (4500 XP)
Rewards: Jirachi Encounter, 20 Jirachi Candy, Jircahi Shirt (male), Jirachi Shirt (female)
