Man U defeats Spurs 2 – 1 to keep perfect pre-season record
A wonderful goal from Angel Gomes gave Manchester United a 2 - 1 victory over Tottenham to maintain their perfect pre-season record in the International Champions Cup.
Anthony Martial was the first person to put Manchester United on the lead via his goal which came exactly at 21st minute into the first half. The match was played to the end of the first half with none of the teams scoring.
Both sides made wholesale changes at the break - with United changing their entire XI - and Tottenham got a deserved equaliser in the 65th minute as Lucas Moura's shot was deflected into the back of the net.
It was a very interesting match, and one that gives us a glimpse into what to expect from the teams as new season begins in August. So far, Man United has kept a clean record, remaining unbeatable in all their outings so far.
Could we assume that Man United would lift Premier trophy this season?
