HOW I DID WHAT I COULD JUST FOR MY FAMILY TO BE SAFE

The quote above speaks directly to my soul. It's actually coming like a reminder of one incident that happened to me a long time ago.
So when I was younger my parents always encouraged me on taking up a fight without fear of losing. They never allowed me run away from challanges simply because of any form of complex at all. They made me become bold and I didn't care whatever it was, if ever I saw you as an obstacle? Damnit I going to fight to take you down! Hahaha.
So one day some boy in my neighborhood was disrespectful to momma and she became really upset. She gave the boy a beating of his life that day. The little guy was too arrogant and disrespectful and momma really pounced on her mercilessly. The next day the little guy came to my house with his full family for a revenge and a return match! Hahaha..
Now if you grew up in the village where no parent would ever allow you 'touch' their child and go scot free then you'd know exactly what I mean when I say "A return match". Hahaha
The little guy came with his squad for a retaliation. His mom was in the striker position while his elder brothers of about 19 - 21 years old were in the midfield and defense position. Hahaha. They really came for a show down that day simply because momma had beaten their kid for disobedience.
Hmmm.. long story short me being the eldest of the two children of my family I had to do something! I was just twelve at that time but there is no way I was going to let these intruders touch momma for any reason. I had to fight! Mom and dad divorced a long time ago so I had just her and my little sister! But does that really matter? Should I just allow these riffraffs come mess with momma free of charge? Shouldn't I fight to defend my family even if it means using the last drop of my blood? Mehn I fought them all!!!
I didn't become incapacitated by the fact that I was too small compared to them. I didn't allow inferiority complex becloud my sense of action. I just laugh out loud each time I remember that day. Hahaha
Although they gave me the beating of my life because they were in the majority but my only joy is that I fought with the last strengtht inside of me in defense of my family.
