Few kilometers, the rivers flow with birds flying below altitude taking a dive, and picking up little fishes few meters above water, a quiet town with tranquillity. A place I am proud of.The effect of civilization is still very far reached here, with there mundane life style, making kitchen utensils from the earth, a place were kids play wild and free.

It considered a taboo to kill some certain snakes, a fine is imposed to deter people from killing an already endangered species, I ha e often come across wild dogs on my way from school thise days, you can tell from there size and manercing appearance as run into the thick forest as we approach towards them.

But the place I went to was not what it was, this is surely not a place I grew up, as felling of trees is now rampant, pushing the wild life far away from human

Take me back to a better time, Walk me home to paradise,were the field are green and the spring water is warm, the birds chirp and the wild life can be felt my their activities in the surrounding neighborhoods.

This brings to mind the current environment hazard gradually plaguing our existence and that if the wild life, my thought went back to the current United nation submit currently being held in the United states. Factories everywhere can be seen in this once quiet village, with poor sewage disposal, debris of waste can be found in the stale gutters, non degradable materials can be seen polluting the environment. The rivers ha e been pushed backwards due to dredging so that when it's raining season the once beautiful town is flooded .

And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.

The problem with humans are just plain selfishness, we do not consider the life we shall leave behind for our next generation, we just want to recoup and maximise profit, and I have noticed that natural disasters are very rampant these days . We were not created on this earth to destroy it , as a matter of fact we should live it better that we met it.

The time to act is now, the time for fossil fuel that pollute the stratosphere and environment is over, the time for green house renewable energy source is now,can we begin to experiment on the use of solar panels to run automobiles, engines in factories, the use of wind vane to power our homes will be a good idea,
Can we stop destroying the soil while looking for crude oil that eventually make our habitats uninhabitable ?
