shopping at thrift stores

I have read in numerous places that a good idea to help save money is
to purchase your clothes at thrift stores. I don’t agree with this. Purchasing someone else’s castaways may be cheaper, but that doesn’t
mean you should do it. If shopping at thrift stores is something you
enjoy, then by all means, continue. But if it isn’t, then don’t force
yourself to do something you don’t want to. It’s hard enough to make
yourself save, without the added pressure of feeling like you need to start shopping at places you normally would avoid, like buying your
clothes at thrift stores.
