Converting Steem directly to Fiat and bullish Crypto Market : A steemit Weekend Blog
Steem blockchain technology is undoubtedly more superior to Ethereum and Bitcoin combined - in terms of transaction processing speed (see my older posts for details) and thus it will be great if steem growing community will be able to convert steem directly to fiat.
Most recently, @steemitblog posted that STEEM is now listed on LocalBitcoinCash.org
We are excited to announce the listing of a STEEM/BCH trading pair on LocalBitcoinCash! LocalBitcoinCash (LBC) is a new cryptocurrency exchange that was launched in January of this year and now can act as a fiat gateway for STEEM, anywhere in the world, as users will be able to ‘shift’ the BCH they buy with fiat into STEEM with ease. Trades can be done via escrow using methods like a bank transfer, or users can meet each other locally, which is common on the platform. Personal verification is not compulsory so your identity is protected. That being said, verifying your identity on the platform is an option and doing so helps build trust with other users, facilitating more trades

In light of this news, plus the gradual recovering of Crypto markets, we can argue that best days are ahead of us and thus:
Time to buy long term: Those who bought the dip few weeks ago: steem, EOS etc are enjoying their gains now and will continue in days to come because we will see more upward trends in the crypto space especially on undervalued tokens or coins (see www.elyte.tech).

Most investors seek less hassle, apparently Steem can't be directly purchased on any exchanges using Fiat. We need either BTC or ETH primarily, so there isn't leverage for cryptocurriencies to grow individually. No matter how beautiful the platform is or application or even the security, ultimately STEEM and SBD rely on crypto market fluctuations and BTC demand-supply.
Well, it will be a glory day if some exchange comes with direct $ to SBD Token. That will raise the overall pricing structure of Steem. I am waiting for that day, I know someday it might happen. That will bring less hassle as an investor and better value-for-time for end user and creator.

Steemit is by far the most solid and under rated platform - its time will come where it reigns supreme though! I wish I had come in earlier, but still thin I am early enough to enjoy the ride. Wish I had some money to invest in STEEM though, it is tough work starting out as a minnow - starting from the bottom
