Do you have a stake in Marlians on STEEM?
Tokens? Yes, I have tokens! I run three blogs and here are the tokens I have so far:

@fitinfunfood has 31 tokens
Oh yeah! I'm on it, lol.
I really did have tokens on my list next to figure out. I do not have much knowledge about them now, and as they keep flooding in, I think I should try to get it together.
Just as I was getting ready to tackle the token monster, who should contact me? That's right, "Our Boy Terry" @surpassinggoogle!
Terry and I are friends on multiple platforms and before STEEM. I have helped him on a few projects, and he asked me to help with Marlians last night.
So of course I said yes. I am quite relieved to have a focus for this project. If I can learn Marlians, the other 50 or so tokens will be a breeze, right?

This are the steps I have taken and the info I have gathered so far:
Background
I have been a Ulogger and Untalented with Terry's other projects. I am certified and very willing to take part. I am also technically challenged.
Terry's Situation
Please know that Terry's health is poor. We both suffer from chronic disease, so we have this as common ground. His trouble is flared up bad enough for him to tell me.
The "healthy" world says, "Ok Our Boy, get a good night's sleep and see you tomorrow." But it is
NOT.
THAT.
EASY.
Terry needs a lot of rest, rehab, and recovery. Part of his issue is "doing too much." He knows this and this is why he has reached out.
Terry's Request
While Terry is at maybe 30% effectiveness on STEEM, all of the sudden we have hundreds of posts a day to the Marlians tag.
In the past, I manually curated the "Untalented" tag for Terry when it had 75-100 posts a day. This took me more than one hour to upvote maybe 30% of those posts for $1 a whack in the good old days. The posts were mostly in English and in topics I knew about such as art, travel, food, life.
Now we have 500+ posts day, not all in English, lots of sports, crypto, and other topics I know nothing about.
I scrolled MANY MANY screens in the Marlians front end last night and only got to posts 8 hours old. What a shocker that was.
Terry has been trying to curate this by himself. He is asking me to get many people to curate - me and hopefully you, your mom, and your dog.
Questions
Currently anyone can post anything to Marlians.
- How can the flood of posts be handled to consistently reward people who post good content?
- How can we sort?
- How can we "enforce" rules?
- Should we enforce rules?
- What should Marlians become?
Terry started out very inclusive on purpose and thinks Marlians should be ulog-y eventually.
I looked at my @fitinfun Marlians numbers in steemworld and this is what I see:

I do not understand all of what I see in steemworld, but I do know I am at 100% Marlians VP. So I think I need to delegate to an alt account maybe. I am at 85% vp in STEEM now.

Marlians is not considered a "tribe" and does not show on steempeak as such. So when I float on that little icon, I do not see the marlian votes. I think there is some way to get the tribe designation approved.

This room needs attention and does not have (enough) active admins. 5000 people are registered in that room.
Terry is looking for a programmer

I love marlians, and was looking forward to having a ULOG site. Now that I see all of these other posts, it makes me scrunch my nose a bit - but, I can still go under the ULOG tag.
I mostly upvote certified uloggers, or mamas who are ulogging or just regular ulogs.
I bought a few thousand marlians, which is not a big USD investment, but took a lot of the steem I had earned with my blogging (which can be hard to come by!)
Since I hit 5000 I have been staking 25% of my marlian rewards and selling the other 75% to get some of my steem investment back.
But If I had a bigger stake, I would be able to upvote more. Still though, it feels like people are using all tags they can and then selling the rewards so maybe... its ok if we just upvote uloggers...
I am liking marlians the best and I am ready to help by curating uloggers and marlians posting mamas. If you have Terry's ear and decide to give me a bigger stake, that it what it will be used for.
If all those marlians accounts with tribes autofollowed terry, those of us who got an upvote from him would be getting a large bonus.

actually we all want our investments to get back as soon as possible but yes it depends on trust ❤️ and we trust on our boy terry 😉
When it comes to marlians or steem, if you look closely, it isn't just about returns on investment monetarily. Many times, it has been about influence and many times where it looks like perhaps losses monetarily, where you convert the money into influence and build your noble dream, a community and move others, you never really lose. If you look at one of my recent post, you will see that i have gathered stake on more than 14 tribes and i have shared this. Even where monetarily it looks like losses. You will also see that i reach on weku and would have on whaleshares as well. These stake, non has been monetary gain but by reaching you, have i really lost? It is time to return value to human. And all my projects are just about that, returning value to human and not building on 'bulls or bears', else blockchain itself will fade and be ordinary. That is already happening. So that it doesn't fade, we need to do as you do, love someone and stay, whether bulls or bears. Just as you have done here, love and trust our boy Terry, that is what it is about. This way, the world itself adjusts. I value your comment here.
Yes it is a gradual process. ulogs.org is the main site for ulogs but cos of health issues. I need to rehab a bit before i can come back for those. There is also steemgigs.org
Marlians is something that can run more easily while i can find the ability to rehab. Even so, it is looking still impossible too but i am getting help gradually. Like the 'certified' feed, there will be a feed for 'ulogs', a standalone feed which will make it easier for you to curate ulogs but also bring awareness to ulogs. marlians is a middle ground to bring the world to know about ulogging, that is why you will notice that 'certified' uloggers are at the core. Over time, they will inculcate the ulogging movement to others. It is a slow process but you are playing a role. Ulogging is quite new, so we will have to slowly inculcate the culture using marlians. It is slow though. First is to get everyone in. Then over time, they will start to know about ulogs as we start to use the site to give ulogs and uloggers more prominence. That is one way, that we will get people familiar with ulogging. You can do some of those too and i can help with prizes etc but you aren't so reachable on discord. I am so weak so things are slow but the plans will show.

Many things are coming but it requires funding. And among other things, my funding has been slow but more importantly, i have been so weak for a long time. So development has been slow. I don't quit though.
While there are many who aren't ulogging, we can invite them to ulog via curation. Like a comment, that tells them to try ulogging as it is fun. Gradually, we can have an internet filled with humans, where 'content is queen' and refreshing constantly.
You have a bit more stake now. With curation as you have been doing. It will grow quickly.
Ulogging is so much fun and I like it so so much. I like what your plans are. I had not seen your "rich list" but now that I do, I have a goal to get at least 10,000 marlians.
I do like the human aspect of this project and will remember that. It is not so much the worth, but the value of people.

Marlians, for me, is just the next iteration of our boy Terry and his team making rewards better for all the Uloggers across the planet. Marlians.com will be a steem gateway, gathering place and launch pad for the masses.
What will become of Marlians tokens? Who knows? I am hoping it will become a nice income for every little person like me across the planet.
